Part-Time Nanny

Location: Scituate, MA, 02066

Start date: May 6th, 2024

Children: 6 year old and 3 month old.

Compensation: $30 an hour (Flexible DOE)

Schedule: Two days a week 10:00am-4:00pm.

A welcoming family of four, nestled in Scituate Harbor, is in search of an easy-going, energetic, and nurturing Part-Time Nanny. This role involves close collaboration with a stay-at-home mom who treasures time with her children but could benefit from additional support in the mornings and afternoons to ensure seamless days. Responsibilities will vary between caring for the oldest child and tending to the infant.

Schedule details: The family offers flexibility regarding which weekdays the nanny chooses to commit to, Monday through Friday. They prefer a 6-hour daily commitment from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, but are open to establishing a consistent weekly schedule. The family guarantees 12 hours weekly, with the possibility of additional hours available in the evenings or on weekends.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience with infants. They should be enthusiastic about engaging in outdoor activities such as swimming in the family's pool, walks and spending time at the library. Additional responsibilities include cleaning baby bottles.

Benefits: (24) hours of paid time off annually, paid holidays, guaranteed hours, mileage reimbursement, and the position is paid on the books.

Requirements:

  • First Aid/CPR Certification required
  • Non- smoker
  • At least 21 years old
  • Minimum of 2 years of nanny experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of infant experience
  • Clear a background check & motor vehicle report
  • COVID vaccination required
  • Must be okay with dogs (English Bulldog)
  • Must be okay with working as a team with a parent
